Bald eagles are nesting at six confirmed locations in southeastern Wisconsin - compared with only two as recently as 2007 - and a steadily increasing number of people are calling state Department of Natural Resources offices to report eagles flying over their communities, department officials said.
Homestead High School's varsity football team and coach Dave Keel will ride on a flatbed truck, enjoying their collective role as parade marshal for the Mequon-Thiensville annual Family Fun Before the Fourth Parade that steps off at 10:30 a.m. Saturday on Main Street.
