Thiensville to ask Mequon to extend water main
Thiensville — Village Manager Dianne Robertson will talk with the Mequon Water Utility about the possibility of extending a water main in to serve the Fiddleheads development at 120 N. Main St.

North Shore NOW won three awards - including two for first place - in the 2009 Wisconsin Newspaper Association's Better Newspaper Contest.
Fiddleheads to build roasting facility
Thiensville — Ray Marcy's proposal to buy a vacant piece of land from the village and redevelop it for the corporate headquarters of Fiddleheads, including a roasting operation, bakery and retail sales, brought smiles to most of the two dozen people gathered at Village Hall on Monday night.
Resident wants pet ordinance with more bite
Mequon — If you have a smaller lot, you may not be happy with six barking dogs next door, especially when it is difficult to know how to solve that problem. That's one of the reasons the city's Public Welfare Committee plans to address its ordinance governing the number of dogs and cats that can be allowed on a property and its "pet fanciers permit," issued to residents with multiple pets.
Council gets sticker shock on engineering bill
Mequon — Over the course of planning and designing the Town Center, the Common Council has asked Bonestroo Engineering to add projects to its to-do list. After receiving the bill for those services, the members came to realize they never asked for change orders and the cost of the additional services, much to their chagrin.

Sachdeva trial postponed
The April 19 date for a jury trial for Sujata (Sue) Sachdeva, the former Koss Corp. executive accused of embezzling $31 million from the company, has been postponed. Judge Lynn Adelman changed the schedule in keeping with the extension of the deadline for Sachdeva's lawyer to file motions on her behalf.
