MEQUON

BURGLARY

While executing a search warrant June 3, police found more than 200 pieces of evidence including jewelry in a car and a Milwaukee residence on Booth Street of the 33-year-old Milwaukee woman who was arrested for burglary at Meadowmere Assisted Living, 10803 N. Port Washington Road, on May 27. Some of the items found had been taken from Meadowmere.

THEFTS

Two cars were entered at River Barn Park, 9808 N. Cedarburg Road, between 6 and 8 p.m. June 3. Windows were broken on each car and purses with wallets, credit cards, IDs and make-up kits were taken. Both victims said they had placed their purses on the floor and one covered hers with a jacket.

Four cars were entered in the 8400 block of West Highland Road on June 9 or 10. Items taken included a stereo and fishing equipment valued at more than $500.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 41-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and unsafe lane deviation in the 7500 block of West Willowbrook Court at 3:20 a.m. June 5. A 37-year-old Mequon woman, the passenger, kept interrupting police when they interviewed the man telling them she was a resident and the man had not broken any laws. His blood alcohol content was 0.17.

A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and refusal to take a breath test after two 911 calls reporting an erratic driver in the 9400 block of Interstate 43 at 3:40 a.m. June 5. The man admitted having a few drinks and failed field sobriety tests. He had a preliminary BAC of 0.16 and was taken for a blood draw.

VANDALISM

A basement window was broken in the 3000 block of West River Land Drive from June 4 to June 8. The amount of damage was not available.

OTHER

Two 20-year-old women of Mequon and Milwaukee were arrested for underage drinking in the 11100 block of West Mequon Road at 3:32 a.m. June 5.
