A 32-year-old Thiensville woman was arrested for theft of about $70 donated by customers to fight cancer at North Shore BP Station, 11147 N. Port Washington Road, at 1:20 p.m. July 31. The woman, who admitted taking the money in order to buy cigarettes, agreed to make restitution.
A car was entered but only a credit card holder valued at $70 taken in the 3800 block of West Gazebo Hills Parkway on Aug. 1 or 2. A window was broken to gain entry causing more than $200 damage.
An unsecured bicycle valued at more than $400 was taken from the Mequon Pool, 11333 N. Cedarburg Road, the afternoon of Aug. 4.
A 55-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving, open intoxicants, failure to have her license and unsafe lane deviation in the 6900 block of West Mequon Road at 1:25 a.m. July 30. A 54-year-old Milwaukee man, her passenger, was arrested for open intoxicants. After being placed in the squad car, the woman urinated. Her blood alcohol content was 0.20.
A 47-year-old Germantown man was arrested for drunken driving and lane deviation in the 7500 block of West Mequon Road at 1 a.m. Aug. 5. His BAC was 0.12.
More than one dozen mailboxes were damaged in and around the city including the 400 block of West Mequon Road, the 11700 block of North Lake Shore Drive, the 10000 and 10200 blocks of North Waterleaf Drive and the 11300 and 11500 blocks of North Solar Avenue July 31 and Aug. 1. According to police, a series of this type of vandalism was also reported in June and July and parents are urged to be aware of what their children are doing.
A 2008 Audi was vandalized in the 4100 block of West Hilands Court on Aug 1 or 2. Deep scratches and dents were found on the car's surface and a window was broken. The amount of damage was not available.
Three stop signs were painted with profanities in the 10000 block of North LaMont Boulevard on Aug 3 or 4. The amount of damage was not available.
A home was broken into and several items taken in the 400 block of Green Bay Road at 2 a.m. Aug. 1. The family was on vacation and returned home to dresser drawers pulled out and all the items scattered around the bedroom. A complete list of items taken is being complied. The suspect in the matter may be known to the homeowners and may be responsible for burglaries in the Milwaukee area.
