MEQUON

THEFT

A $40 purse and contents including $99 cash and a $120 men's white gold bracelet was taken from an unlocked car at Homestead High School, 5000 W. Mequon Road, sometime Feb. 18. The student posted the theft on Twitter and Facebook. The next day, she called police after finding her purse in her mailbox in the 9700 block of Kent Court with nothing missing.

Two 50-year-old men of Milwaukee and Chicago were arrested for trespassing and theft of scrap metal valued at more than $200 including a steel pallet and aluminum from HB Performance Systems, 5800 W. Donges Bay Road, and Jorgenson Conveyors, 10303 N. Baehr Road, the afternoon of Feb. 18.

Two "heavy set" women were caught on surveillance video putting $190 worth of liquor into their purses and leaving Metro Market, 11558 N. Port Washington Road, on Feb. 19.

An 18-year-old Cedarburg woman was arrested for theft of a tray of cookies valued at $90 from her employer, Metro Market, 11558 N. Port Washington Road, at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 21.

A fuel injector valued at $188 was taken from Sommer's, 7211 W. Mequon Road, about 9:15 a.m. Feb. 22. A couple came to the dealership, asked for the item and walked out without paying for it.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 25-year-old Mequon man is a suspect for possession of drugs and paraphernalia after a 911 call reporting a possible drug overdose in the 5200 block of West Hillcrest Drive at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 19. Spoons and a plastic tube with residue along with other paraphernalia were found. The man was taken to a hospital.

A 17-year-old Mequon boy was arrested for possession of 4 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and underage possession of tobacco in the 9600 block of North Juniper Circle at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 22. The boy was arrested there after marijuana residue was found in his car along with a strong odor of the drug at Homestead High School, 5000 W. Mequon Road, at 7:30 a.m.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 26-year-old Saukville woman was arrested for drunken driving, unsafe lane deviation after speeding 45 mph in a 35 mph zone in the 10900 block of North Port Washington Road at 3 a.m. Feb. 18. The woman, who admitted having "a few drinks," had a blood alcohol content of 0.11.

A 20-year-old Germantown man was arrested for drunken driving, unsafe lane deviation, underage drinking and given a warning for no proof of insurance after a report of his erratic driving on Mequon and River roads at 12:35 a.m. Feb. 19. The man admitted drinking "some alcohol." His BAC was 0.17.

A 48-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, suspended registration and failure to have insurance after a report of a possible drunken driver on Interstate 43 at Mequon Road at 3 a.m. Feb. 19. The man, who admitted having one beer, failed field sobriety tests and was taken for a blood draw.

THIENSVILLE

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 59-year-old Thiensville woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 100 block of South Main Street after her vehicle was seen without lights and jumping a curb at 10:08 p.m. Feb. 18. When an officer approached, the woman was covered with bodily fluids and she gave the officer a credit card instead of her driver's license. The woman was taken to St. Mary's Ozaukee for a blood alcohol content test.

OTHER

A 46-year-old Jackson woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at her place of employment in the 200 block of South Main Street at 6:20 a.m. Feb. 16. The owner of the business found a small black case on the counter. Inside the case was a driver's license, debit card and a green straw with white residue in it. The woman was dismissed from her employment.

A 15-year-old Brown Deer boy was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, a knife, in the 300 block of Riverview Drive at 5:43 p.m. Feb. 25. The officer had been looking for the boy after he was reported missing. When found, the boy smelled of marijuana. The knife was found in his pants pocket. A 19-year-old Thiensville man was also cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor for giving him the knife and resisting/obstructing police.
