Eight offices were broken into at an office complex at 10144 N. Port Washington Road on May 14 or 15. About $200 cash and electronics valued at more than $2,500 including laptops and a PowerPoint projector were taken. Police are also investigating the theft of more than $9,000 from an office near Port Washington and Donges Bay roads that happened about a month ago and reported this week. Similar burglaries were reported in Glendale and Menomonee Falls.
Matthew P. Wick, 31 of Mequon, the man arrested and charged for robbery of banks in Mequon and Bayside, was also arrested for theft May 15 of silver candlesticks and jewelry taken from the 9700 block of North Lamplighter Lane on April 25 and May 9. The items had been pawned or an attempt was made to pawn them.
Four passports and jewelry valued from $5,000 to $10,000 were taken from the 4100 block of West Hilands Court over the past months and reported the evening of May 8.
An 18-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, both of Milwaukee, were arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after their car was stopped in the 7500 block of West Donges Bay Road at 12:50 a.m. May 12. The woman had 0.7 grams of marijuana in a pill bottle and the boy had 2.8 grams hidden in two plasti bags and both had pipes with residue.
A 51-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was arrested for drunken driving and open intoxicants on Buntrock and Division avenues at 6 p.m. May 13. An open bottle of wine and a cup of wine were in the car. The woman said she had been golfing. Her blood alcohol content was 0.15.
A 35-year-old West Bend man was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, nonregistration, failure to have insurance and driving left of center in the 10500 block of North Granville Road at 12:45 a.m. May 15. The man failed field sobriety tests and was taken for a blood draw.
Two boys, 16 and 17, and a girl, 17, all from Mequon were arrested for underage drinking at River View Park, 4200 Grace Ave., at midnight May 13. When police arrived, a number of teenagers ran into the woods. Alcohol was found in a water bottle. They had preliminary BACs of 0.02 to 0.04.
A 17-year-old Jackson girl was arrested for underage drinking at Homestead High School, 5000 W. Mequon Road, at 1:15 a.m. May 13. Police were called when the girl arrived at a school function intoxicated. She said she'd been drinking at a party in Cedarburg. Her preliminary BAC was 0.082.
An 18-year-old Mequon man and a 17-year-old Milwaukee boy were cited for disorderly conduct after a report of them fighting outside Homestead High School, 5000 W. Mequon Road at 2:45 p.m. May 16. Both said they were just "goofing around." The Mequon man was arrested on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 16-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for disorderly conduct after yelling profanities at a woman driver in the 11000 block of North Range Line Road at 8:10 a.m. May 17. The woman had stopped her car and waved for this boy and others to cross the street. He yelled, "(expletive) you" saying he didn't need someone to tell him when he could cross the street.
