MEQUON

THEFT

A 32-year-old Mequon man is a suspect in the theft of Hydrocodone from the 4900 block of West Kathleen Lane on Jan. 17 and reported Jan. 23. He is also a suspect for bail jumping and possession of a controlled substance.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 23-year-old Mequon man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was seen driving around the same area in the 12200 block of North Wauwatosa Road at 1:20 a.m. Jan. 31. The car smelled of burned marijuana and the man had some of the drug in his pocket and a pipe and two grinders both with marijuana residue were found in the car.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 41-year-old Mequon woman was arrested for drunken driving, refusal to take a breath test and obstruction/resisting after weaving across lanes in the 10400 block of Wauwatosa Road at 1:05 a.m. Jan. 26. She failed field sobriety tests and had a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.163. She became belligerent and resisted arrest.

An 18-year-old town of Cedarburg man was arrested for drunken driving, driving left of center, a minor transporting alcohol, resisting arrest, underage drinking and possession of marijuana after a 911 call saying a man was nonresponsive behind the wheel of a car sitting in traffic on Pioneer and Wasaukee roads at 3:10 a.m. Jan. 26. Police opened the door, put the car in park and turned off the engine. It was then the man awoke and struggled with police as he tried to restart his car. Two pipes with marijuana residue were found in the car and the man admitted smoking the drug earlier but said the pipes weren't his. His preliminary BAC was 0.14 and he was taken for a blood draw.

A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, driving without a valid driver's license, with a prior conviction, failure to have insurance and open intoxicants at Donges Bay and Wasaukee roads at 8:56 a.m. Jan. 26. The man, who had a Mexican ID but no driver's license, said he was on his way to work in Germantown. He also admitted drinking 14 shots of alcohol between 11:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. that morning. His BAC was 0.12.

A 20-year-old El Paso, Texas, man was arrested for drunken driving, underage drinking and driving left of center in the 13400 block of North Green Bay Road at 12:55 a.m. Jan. 27. His four passengers were also arrested: a 20-year-old Cedarburg man for underage drinking and possession of marijuana, a 20-year-old Lees Summit. Mo., man for underage drinking and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and a 19-year-old New Berlin man for underage drinking. Two bags of marijuana were found in the car along with two pipes with residue. The driver, who admitted he had four or five beers, also admitted smoking marijuana earlier. His preliminary BAC was 0.085 and he was taken for a blood draw.

A 50-year-old Mequon woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 6200 block of West Donges Bay Road at 2:15 a.m. Feb. 1. She failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.12.

THIENSVILLE

BURGLARY

The owner of a business in the 200 block of North Main Street reported both of his back doors had pry marks and it appeared that forced entry was attempted on Jan. 27. Unable to gain entry, no other businesses in the area noted the same type of problem. It appeared that the entry was attempted the night before the owner reported it.
