MEQUON

BURGLARY

A snowblower valued at more than $300 was reported taken from an unsecured garage in the 11400 block of North Meadowbrook Drive at 11:25 a.m. Feb. 27. The resident said the last time he saw the snowblower was Feb. 19.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 31-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for possession of prescription medicine without a prescription after a relative called police when the man would not leave a residence in the 13900 block of North Birchwood Lane at 12:10 a.m. Feb. 23. The man had oxycodone and various "mood stabilizers" such as Valium.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 26-year-old Brown Deer woman was arrested for drunken driving and driving left of center after a report of a car parked with lights being turned off and on in the 5400 block of West County Line Road at 2:35 a.m. Feb. 21. As police approached, the car drove away continuing westbound, crossing the centerline and the driver's door was opened and closed numerous times. When stopped, police asked the driver why she had pulled over earlier. She said "I had to pee." She also said she kept opening her door because her jacket was caught. Her blood alcohol content was 0.18.

OTHER

A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for absolute sobriety and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1200 block of West Mequon Road at 7:40 a.m. Feb. 26. The man had stopped at a green light and appeared to be sleeping. He said he had smoked incense "earlier." His BAC was 0.04.

A 48-year-old Mequon woman was cited for open intoxicants after an officer observed her pouring vodka into a water bottle while the woman sat in her vehicle in a parking lot in the 200 block of South Main Street at 6:35 p.m. Feb. 28. The woman admitted to it and had no idea it was illegal.

A 33-year-old Wauwatosa woman and a 31-year-old Milwaukee man were cited for disorderly conduct at a business in the 100 block of South Main Street at 11:59 a.m. March 2. The woman had dropped her wedding dress off for alterations. The business owner tried to have the woman call back to make decisions about the dress but the woman came back and demanded the dress. When the owner stated $115 was owed for work already done, the woman and the man started swearing and trying to intimidate the owner. The man paid with a credit card but said he was going to have the charge reversed.
