Public Forum:
Mequon 1st District residents should know the truth about aldermanic candidate Robert Strzelvzyk.
Robert is a nice guy; I did business with him years ago when his business was still in Mequon. But, and it is a big but, that does not qualify him to be the best choice for alderman.
Mr. Strzelvzyk clearly supports Mayor Gielow's aggressive high density development agenda. An agenda which will create higher taxes, invite urban problems and harm our schools.
He tells voters that he will be open for business yet recently relocated his business from Mequon to Menomonee Falls.
This is not who we want encouraging business growth in Mequon and advocating our educational excellence. Dan Abendroth was my alderman for 26 years and has proven he is the best choice for alderman.
On April 2 residents of Mequon's 1st District should re-elect 27-year veteran Alderman Dan Abendroth as alderman AND elect him mayor.
Gloria A. Rosenberg

[Editor's note: Strzelvzyk said his business was hit by lightning and burned down and no buildings with his space needs were available in Mequon.]
