Police search for missing Mequon woman

April 25, 2014

Mequon— Mequon police are searching for 54-year-old Candace Giles, who was last seen at her Mequon home Thursday morning.

Giles did not show up for a scheduled appointment, and personal items were left at the residence, which would lead family and friends to believe that Giles may be in danger or in need of help, according to a news release from the Mequon Police Department. Police also say there is no evidence that the public is in danger or that foul play is involved.

Giles was last seen at 11:15 a.m. Thursday at her home in the 5500 block of Parkview Drive. She was wearing a red long sleeve shirt under a dark green sweater and blue jeans. Giles is 113 pounds and has dark brown, shoulder-length hair.
