Mequon Police Report: June 5

Thefts

· An 18-year-old Mequon man was arrested for theft of money from a tip jar at Subway West, 6021 W. Mequon Road, at 3:45 p.m. May 27. An employee said the man ordered food and after paying for it reached into the tip jar, taking about $5, and left. The employee got his license plate number and the man was found. He denied taking any money from the jar and said he had reached into it to tip a quarter.

Drug possession

· A 28-year-old Greenfield man was arrested for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a warrant for possession of drugs in the 10500 block of N. Swan Road at 2:10 p.m. May 23. The man admitted he had drugs in the car. A pipe and grinder, both with marijuana residue, and 1.2 grams of marijuana, were confiscated.

· A crack pipe was turned over to police after it was found in a patient's belongings at Columbia St. Mary Ozaukee County Hospital, 13111 N. Port Washington Road at 12:45 p.m. May 25. Police requested a subpoena for hospital records.

Vandalism

· A mailbox was damaged and taken from the 10200 block of N. Baehr Road May 27 or May 28. The resident reported hearing noise about 11:45 p.m. May 27.

Other

· A resident reported that his ID, including his Social Security number, were used to file federal taxes May 26.
