MEQUON

THEFT

About $100 of scrap metal, including cast iron, was taken from the 13600 block of North Granville Road during the day April 18.

A car was broken into and a briefcase and laptop computer valued at $500 were taken in the 5600 block of West Donges Bay Road between 6 and 7:50 p.m. April 12. Damage was $300.

Two cars were entered in the 10300 block of North Cedarburg Road between 8 and 8:45 p.m. April 12. A purse valued at $200 and contents was taken from one car that had two windows broken causing $600 damage. An electronic tablet valued at $500 was taken from the other car with one window broken causing $300 damage.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 17-year-old Mequon boy was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia near Stone Creek Drive and Donges Bay Road at 6:20 p.m. April 12. The boy's father had called police earlier to report the boy leaving home with a girl. A witness reported seeing smoke coming from bushes where they were sitting. They drove off but were stopped by police. A tin foil pipe with marijuana residue was found in those bushes and the boy arrested.

OTHER

Two Mequon boys, 16 and 17, were arrested April 8 for damage to property and the 17-year-old also for unauthorized presence/trespassing at Homestead High School, 5000 W. Mequon Road, about 4:40 p.m. April 6. The boys were arrested after damage to a door near the cafeteria was found and surveillance video showed them doing that damage.

THIENSVILLE

VANDALISM

A vehicle was reported egged while it was parked outside of the owner's home in the 200 block of Green Bay Road at 11:15 p.m. April 21.

OTHER

A 57-year-old Mequon man was cited for open intoxicants in his vehicle after an open bottle of vodka was found in the front seat of his vehicle parked in a lot in the 200 block of North Main Street at 12:31 p.m. April 20. The man, who was not in the car when the alcohol was found, returned to the vehicle and was cited. The vehicle was towed from the scene after it was determined the man had been drinking the vodka.
