Police report: Dec. 23

· Five sets of LED exterior lights valued at $1,750 were taken from the Highland House, 12741 N. Port Washington Road, sometime Dec. 2 to Dec. 16. The lights were strung in trees surrounding the restaurant and a large ladder would have been needed to reach the lights which were secured by zip ties. A similar theft was reported in Elm Grove.

· A mini electronic tablet valued at $529 was taken from an unlocked car at the Center for Jewish Life, 2233 W. Mequon Road, between 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13 and reported Dec. 18.


· A 50-year-old Cedarburg woman was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, and unsafe lane deviation after she drove at least 30 yards off the road ending up in a ditch at Pioneer and Green Bay roads at 8:45 p.m. Dec. 17. Pieces of broken beer bottles were found both inside and outside the car. When asked, the woman said she didn't know what happened. Her blood alcohol content was 0.12 and she was taken for a blood draw.
