MEQUON

THEFT

A 2004 Hyundai valued at $9,000 was taken from the 6900 block of West Springdale Court on June 18 or 19. In the car were items valued at more than $800 including two digital media players, prescription sunglasses, CDs and a GPS unit.

A $200 digital media player was taken from an unlocked car in the 11900 block of North Springdale Court on June 18 or 19.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 23-year-old Mequon man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving without proper lights, failure to wear a seat belt and a warrant in the 1200 block of West Mequon Road at 10:45 p.m. June 13. His passenger, a 21-year-old Mequon man, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. When canine Officer Vero arrived at the scene, the men rolled up their windows and tried to lock the car. Vero hit aggressively on both the driver's and passenger's side of the car. Police found more than 2 grams of marijuana along with blunts, a grinder and pipes with residue.

A 20-year-old Bayside man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended registration, suspended license and failure to have insurance in the 9800 block of North Wauwatosa Road at 1:30 a.m. June 18. His passengers were also arrested: A 20-year-old Fox Point man for possession of drug paraphernalia and underage drinking with a blood alcohol content of 0.06, a 19-year-old Glendale man for underage drinking with a BAC of 0.15 and a 20-year-old Milwaukee man for possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction, for lying to police and resisting arrest. The Glendale man admitted having a few beers someplace but said he didn't remember where.

A 19-year-old Grafton man was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and failure to stop at a sign in the 12900 block of North Wauwatosa Road at 12:18 a.m. June 20. The man admitted smoking marijuana "recently" and still feeling the effects of it. He had 1.8 grams of marijuana and a grinder and pipe with residue. He was taken for a blood draw.

A 65-year-old Little Rock, Ark., man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, lane deviation and carrying a concealed weapon on Interstate 43 near Mequon Road at 1:05 a.m. June 20. When police asked him about the green leafy substance on his lap and between his legs and seat, he said he didn't know what it was but then admitted it was marijuana and there was more in the car. Police confiscated 75.2 grams of marijuana, pipes with residue, rolling papers, knives and a 9mm pistol without a permit which was loaded with eight rounds.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 51-year-old Thiensville man was arrested for drunken driving, defective taillamp, open intoxicants and warned for speeding 45 mph in a 35 mph zone in the 7500 block of West Freistadt Road at 1:30 a.m. June 15. His BAC was 0.11.

A 25-year-old West Bend man was arrested for drunken driving and lane deviation when he was seen crossing the fog line numerous times in the 11100 block of I-43 at 2:50 a.m. June 16. His BAC was 0.18.

A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, standing at a stop sign and not moving therefore blocking traffic and unsafe lane deviation at Port Washington and Mequon roads about 12:40 a.m. June 17. Another driver found the man sleeping behind the wheel of his car and woke him up. That driver then called 911, when the man drove off onto I-43 and he was then stopped by police. He admitted having "a little bit" to drink but denied he'd been asleep saying the other driver lied. His BAC was 0.13.

A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, driving after suspension and nonregistration in the 10300 block of North Cedarburg Road at 1:20 a.m. June 19. The man, who has a long history of arrests, had a BAC of 0.19.

A 45-year-old Cedarburg woman was arrested for drunken driving and driving left of center in the 12400 block of West Pioneer Road at 1:35 a.m. June 21. The woman who appeared "confused" said she had two glasses of wine. Her BAC was 0.12.

OTHER

An 82-year-old Germantown man was cited for disorderly conduct at the Jewish Community Center Water Park, 11015 N. Market St., at 7 p.m. June 20. The man became angry with a woman who was sitting at the edge of the pool with her legs in the water saying she was blocking his swimming lane. He cursed at her in both Russian and English and also pushed her husband.

A 33-year-old Walford, Iowa, man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he began taking off his clothes and mooned an officer in the 10400 block of West Donges Bay Road at 1:30 a.m. June 22. The man said he was at a Harley event.

THIENSVILLE

OTHER

A 15-year-old Mequon youth was arrested for speeding and not having a valid driver's license in the 700 block of East Freistadt Road at 10:19 p.m. June 22. Two passengers, a 16-year-old Shorewood youth and a 15-year-old Mequon youth, were cited for underage consumption of alcohol. All of the youths were turned over to their parents.
