A 37-year-old Germantown woman was arrested for drunken driving and driving left of center in the 9900 block of West Donges Bay Road at 12:45 a.m. Aug. 31. The woman agreed to a breath test saying, "I guess I'm (expletive) either way." Her blood alcohol content was 0.23.
A 32-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, failure to display a license plate and no insurance in the 12200 block of North Port Washington Road at 3:05 a.m. Aug. 31. The man, who admitted having two or three beers, had a BAC of 0.14 and was taken for a blood draw.
A 41-year-old Lomira man was arrested for drunken driving, with two prior convictions, and making an unlawful U-turn in the 11300 block of North Cedarburg Road at 3:10 a.m. Sept. 2. He ended up driving on a sidewalk telling police he was lost. His BAC was 0.20 and he was taken for a blood draw.
A 45-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, with three prior convictions, driving with a revoked license, driving left of center and the wrong way on a divided highway in the 9600 block of North Cedarburg Road at 7:15 p.m. Sept. 2. The man, who was too drunk to take field sobriety tests and admitted being drunk, had a preliminary BAC of 0.264 and was taken for a blood draw.
A 25-year-old Grafton man was arrested for drunken driving, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, failure to have insurance and lane deviation in the 11300 block of North Wauwatosa Road at 2:50 a.m. Sept. 4. When asked for his driver's license, he handed police a bank deposit slip. When asked for his insurance card, he looked in the glove box and in plain sight were 0.2 grams of marijuana and a drug pipe. He said he had just started smoking the drug because of stress.
A 17-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys, of Cedarburg, and a 16-year-old Brown Deer boy were arrested for underage drinking after a noise complaint near the 1700 block of West Donges Bay Road at 11:15 p.m. Aug. 25. A number of cars were parked in the area. The boys' preliminary BACs ranged from 0.05 to 0.093.
A 19-year-old Saukville man was arrested for absolute sobriety after being stopped for erratic driving in the 11200 block of North Port Washington Road at 12:45 a.m. Aug. 25. He was also cited along with a 19-year-old Belgium man for underage drinking. Their BACs were 0.05 and 0.12.
A 17-year-old Grafton boy was arrested for sexual assault after he allegedly had sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl at Riverview Park, 4200 West Grace Ave., at 11 p.m. Aug. 31.
A 29-year-old Mequon woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and a 26-year-old Milwaukee woman for battery after police were called to two women fighting outside of a residence in the 7100 block of West Tamarack Court at 3:20 a.m. Sept. 1. The two women were having a verbal argument inside but became physical when they went outside. A 29-year-old Milwaukee man, a relative of one of the women, was arrested on a warrant.
A 51-year-old Mequon man was cited for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance in the 8000 and 8100 blocks of North Knightsbridge Drive at 7:50 p.m. Sept. 3. Police were called twice to the area, the first time at 6 p.m. when a neighbor, who was cutting grass, said the man came out of his house and "flipped him off." At 7:50 p.m. the neighbor called again reporting that now the man was playing music so loudly, the house shook. Police arrived and before the suspect saw them, they heard very loud music but it was turned down quickly when police went to the man's residence. When cited, the man told police he could play music as loud as he wanted before 10 p.m. He and his neighbor were advised to avoid each other.
A 23-year-old Mequon man was arrested for furnishing alcohol to an underage person, a 19-year-old Thiensville man who was arrested for possession and underage consumption of alcohol, in the 300 block of North Main Street at 10:13 p.m. Sept. 7. The younger man was carrying a 12-pack of beer for the older man. The Mequon man stated that he did not give any beer to the 19-year-old. Both were under the influence. After further questioning, the 23-year-old stated he did provide the 19-year-old with a beer.
The Thiensville Fire Department responded to a possible fuel oil spill in the 200 block of Park Crest Drive at 10 p.m. Sept. 7. The spill was reported by a concerned neighbor. Crews arrived to find fuel oil draining from a residential driveway down the street for approximately 250 feet. It appeared that work crews were attempting to drain fuel oil tanks in the basement of a home when something caused fuel oil to run down the driveway into the street. Due to the size and location of the spill, the Ozaukee County Hazardous Material Team was requested to assist with mitigating the situation. Crews were on scene for several hours working applying oil dry to effected areas. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Thiensville Police Department are investigating the incident for possible enforcement action. There were no injuries at the incident.
