St. Boniface Church Calls New Rector

St. Boniface Episcopal Church in Mequon has called the Reverend Kenneth C. Miller to be its third rector in the church’s history and first new rector in 20 years. Father Miller celebrated his first services at the church on Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1.

The church’s previous rector, the Reverend Jay Lambert, left in 2007 after 17 years with the parish.

Fr. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree from King College in Bristol, TN and a master’s of divinity degree from Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, VA. Before coming to St. Boniface, he served as rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Smithfield, NC for three years. He has also served as assistant rector at St. James Episcopal Church in Wichita, KS.

Fr. Miller will be formally installed as rector of St. Boniface sometime this fall.
