Newcastle Place Senior Living Community Announces Staff Promotions and New Hire

Mequon, Wis., December 19, 2012 – Mequon senior living community Newcastle Place, managed by Life Care Services™, an LCS™ company, today announced the promotion of two current employees as well as the addition of one new employee at the community.

Bill Bauerband, previously the Senior Living Counselor, has been promoted to Director of Marketing and Sales for Newcastle Place. Bauerband has 10 years of industry experience and will be responsible for planning, developing, directing and coordinating all aspects of selling and marketing the independent living residences.

Prior to joining Newcastle Place in July 2010, Bauerband maintained various positions at Brookdale Senior Living and Assisted Living Concepts that focused on community level sales, regional management and national level sales training. Bauerband earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at State University of New York College at Potsdam (Potsdam, N.Y.) and he currently resides in Cedarburg, Wis.

Diana Jacoby, 52, has been promoted to Director of Resident Services and Staff Development for Newcastle Place. Previously the Staff Development Coordinator, Jacoby will now be responsible for assisting the independent living residents by coordinating all aspects of their health service needs and mentoring current health services professionals. Jacoby enters this position with more than 25 years of nursing and critical care experience at various locations and is both wound care and infection control certified. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Concordia University Wisconsin (Mequon, Wis.) and currently resides in Belgium, Wis.

Newcastle Place has hired Dee Mantik as the Director of Assisted Living where she will be responsible for resident services in the Assisted Living and Memory Care areas within the community. Mantik has 24 years of experience in the health care field and has worked in acute care settings such as medical/surgical, cardiac, psychology, outpatient surgery and gastrointestinal units. Prior to joining Newcastle Place, she held several leadership roles at other communities. Mantik earned an associate degree in nursing from Lakeshore College (Cleveland, Wis.) and currently lives in Kiel, Wis. with her husband and six children.
