Car wash fundraiser for Homestead soccer this Saturday, July 11
The Homestead High School Boys and Girls Soccer Teams will host a car wash on Saturday, July 11, 2009 from 11 AM until 2 PM at the Piggly Wiggly, located at 6111 West Mequon Road in Mequon.
Prices for the car wash range from $5 to $10 depending on the size of the vehicle. All money raised will benefit the boys and girls soccer programs at Homestead High School.
"The car wash is a great way for the community to support the Homestead Soccer program,” said Gabe Genovesi, Captain of the Homestead boys’ soccer team. "Get your car washed and then head over to the Gathering on the Green, another great community event, “said Genovesi.
Five North Shore police departments are teaming up on a new blog that provides residents with the crime prevention and safety tips, and news about community service projects and events throughout the area.
