Milwaukee Public Museum Presents Mummy Secrets Unwrapped at the Weyenberg Library

The Milwaukee Public Museum's Outreach Program returns to the Weyenberg Library on Monday, November 2 with Mummy Secrets Unwrapped! The Museum will present two identical sessions at 5:15 and 6:30 p.m. in the Tolzman Community Room.

The attractions of the museum come to the Weyenberg Library through the Museum on the Move program. Join educators from the Milwaukee Public Museum and unwrap the secrets of mummification, find out why it was so important in ancient Egypt, and become an attendant as you help adorn and wrap a model mummy of your own through this interactive family program.

This special event is appropriate for children and teens ages 8 and above. There is no fee to attend, though registration is required. To reserve a spot, please call the Children's Department at (262) 242-2593, extension 15, or email patron@flwlib.org.

The Weyenberg Library is located at 11345 North Cedarburg Road in Mequon.
