International Education Week at Concordia Celebrates Ethnic Diversity
International Education Week is under way at Concordia University Wisconsin. The weeklong celebration of ethnic diversity on campus is sponsored by the Office of International Student Services. An open house was held on Monday morning with events being planned everyday throughout the week of November 16 to showcase the numerous cultures represented at Concordia.
On Wednesday, November 18 an International Potluck Luncheon will take place at noon in Concordia’s Lake Shore Room. On Thursday night, November 19 at 7 p.m. an International Talent Night will take place in Concordia’s Albrecht Lounge which is sure to not only entertain, but expand cultural views.
“This entire week is a celebration of cultures and ethnicities from all over the world,” said Christine Kao, director of the Asia Pacific Section at CUW. “This event is just another example of how the entire Concordia community embraces international student life on campus,” Kao added.
