A Visit with Mark Twain at the Weyenberg Library on January 28

The Frank L. Weyenberg Library and the Weyenberg Public Library Foundation present A Visit with Mark Twain, starring Dave Ehlert, on Thursday, January 28 at 6:30 p.m. A Visit with Mark Twain has been a Branson, Missouri favorite for many years, and can now be seen right here in Mequon at the Weyenberg Library! Featuring hilarious comedy, timeless humor and nostalgic images, this award-winning portrayal of Mark Twain transforms the Library into Hannibal, Missouri for a heartwarming look at life through the eyes of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn.

The Fine Arts Series is made possible by a generous donation from the Weyenberg Public Library Foundation, Inc. The series continues on Thursday, February 25 with The Milwaukee Art Museum’s Street Seen, and on March 24 with Communities Read 2010 featuring Peter Ferry’s Travel Writing. All Fine Arts Series events are free and open to all members of the public.

This performance will take place in the Library's rotunda and is recommended for families and adults. Regular library services will be suspended at 6:00 on the day of the performance to prepare for this special event. No advanced registration is required for this free program. For more information, please contact the Frank L. Weyenberg Library at 262-242-2593, or by email at community@flwlib.org. The Library is located at 11345 North Cedarburg Road, in Mequon.
